Hong Kong’s Cultural Centre Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Handover with “Bells Resounding – An Evening of Celebration”

A star-studded gala was held at the Cultural Centre to mark the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to Chinese rule. The show, Bells Resounding – an Evening of Celebration, led the audience through the history of the city in eight scenes that featured music, singing and dancing, telling how residents have shaped Hong Kong’s economic success.

Among the stars at the two-hour event performer Tang Yuen-ha and Cantonese opera star Dianna Tse Hue-ying. Others included singer Alan Tam Wing-lun, actors Wong Cho-lam and Louis Koo Tin-lok, actress Liza Wang Ming-chun, retired wushu taolu athlete Li Fai and the Hong Kong Children’s Choir.
